Project Manager - Print / Packaging


Our client is a specialist packaging manufacturer and supplier based in the Midlands, they supply their clients with digital, screen and litho printed Point of Sale Displays and specialist packaging products; due to continued growth and recent key investment they are looking to recruit an office based Project Manager.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working within the large format digital print industry or be from a print management background but consideration will also be given to candidates with print and packaging experience.

Responsibilities / Requirements:

  • Overseeing projects for large format digital print and POS promotions within an agreed timescale and budget.
  • Managing the process from enquiry through to contract review, operations and despatch.
  • Ensuring that the critical path is maintained via close collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Reviewing all specifications and managing suppliers to ensure adherence to schedule.

Desirable Attributes Required:

  • Proven project management experience and ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Estimating and preparation of quotations on a MIS (Ideally Shuttleworth)
  • Extensive knowledge of digital print , associated materials and conversion techniques.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast moving dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literate – Microsoft Office.
  • Attention to detail is paramount.
  • Ability to hit the ground running.
