Sales Manager – Spain, France and North Africa

They have a turnover of SEK 20 billion and employ 4,400 people in 13 countries.

For the business segment Bag Solutions, they are looking to recruit a Sales Manager to be based either in Spain or France, reporting directly to the Sales Director for Bag Solutions. You will be responsible for business sales development in the French, Spanish and North African market and for maintaining existing customer relations. We are looking for committed team players with the right drive, professionalism and the power of innovation and creativity that makes a difference to the future.


  • Maximise revenue and margin generation by turning the business offer into sales
  • Answer for and fulfil the sales budget for one’s customer according to strategy and business plan
  • Responsible for the establishment of commercial agreements with customers according to the company’s policy
  • Responsible for identifying and developing the customer base within the identified sales and market area
  • Initiate, maintain and develop existing and new customer relations
  • Identify prospects and develop new business
  • Plan and execute activities to meet targets for volume, margin and customer satisfaction
  • Map markets and build relationships and business with major producers of food packaging for dry food and carrier bags
  • Manage and coordinate brand owner activities
  • Develop new business models and further improve current business model to capture an increased share of the value created through value proposals
  • Identify and report trends and new requirements from brand owners and contractors/distributors
  • Initiate development of new products, concepts and services together with brand owners/machine suppliers/converters
  • Build knowledge about the value-chain for paper in dry food and retail packaging

Your profile:

  • University Degree or corresponding competence
  • 5 years’ work experience of global B2B sales ideally in the packaging and food industry
  • Commercial mindset
  • Flexible and driven
  • Innovative and creative
  • A value based sales approach
  • Good product and technical knowledge
  • Set and follow up targets
  • Flexibility to travel
  • Excellent language skills – fluent in English, Spanish and French
