A project management position where previous experience of multiple line project management are beneficial, and where enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are paramount.

This demanding role requires an individual with proven presentation and communication skills, who can utilise their previous career skills. Preferably you are already from either the retail / FMCG markets or print / packaging industry

Main Purpose of the Job

  • To efficiently manage the day to day workload of the account and ensure the project is delivered on time in full.

    Main Responsibilities

  • To support Senior Account Manager in all aspects of artwork and repro cradle to grave management.

  • To ensure all work is carried out within the client process.

  • Ensure that all elements are requested and received in order to progress a project within the agreed timescales.

  • To ensure efficient and accurate information is conveyed to all relevant departments in the form of an accurate artwork or repro brief.

  • To be responsible for prioritising your work within a varied client base and effectively managing your time to ensure artwork deadlines and file to printer dates are met.

  • To supply short term forward loading for both the artwork and production managers ensuring flexibility with hotspots and urgent work.

  • Maintaining a professional and corporate awareness when dealing with internal colleagues and external clients

  • Information Management

  • Liaising directly with the studio and production manager to manage hotspots and ensure clear communication of late work/revised dates to SAM and client.

  • To ensure that the client is kept updated of any changes, problems that may arise and updates to project progress.

    Team Responsibilities

  • Attend training sessions with Senior Account Manager as part of development and progression plan.

  • Be a positive and calming influence in the team and ensure that team members maintain a professional attitude.

  • Build a strong relationship with the extended team at the studio

  • Skills and Experience Required

  • Project Management skills and experience preferable

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies preferable.

  • Experience within the print industry would be desirable.

  • To be fully conversant in the use of MIS systems.

  • Strong organisation skills along with multi tasking.

  • Good communication skills – written & verbal.

  • Confidence and ability to deal with Blue Chip clients.

  • A good team worker.

  • Excellent telephone manner.

  • Good attention to detail.

  • PC literate – Microsoft Office – Word and Excel.

  • Flexible, hardworking and ambitious
