Plasfilms (a division of Plastribution Ltd) is a leading distributor of films and supply chain services for businesses across the UK packaging and labelling industry.

Due to continued growth, we are currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Executive to manage and develop relationships with clients and support the development and growth of accounts. The role will be mainly home based, ideally located in Central England.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the packaging industry, particularly within external sales. Experience of directly selling film products to the converter market would be a distinct advantage.

This might be someone currently working for a film extruder/manufacturer or via a distribution or agency channel perhaps.

Key Responsibilities and skills:

•          The role will involve managing key accounts as well as generating new business.

•          Must be keen to adapt to innovation and the introduction of new products to develop new business opportunities.

•          A self-starter who is versatile and flexible to new situations and able to work under pressure to high standards and expectations to meet tight deadlines.

•          Able to use own initiative.

•          Able to work well both in a team environment and individually.  

•          Able to communicate effectively at all levels.

•          Strong negotiation and problem solving skills.
