Customer Account Manager – Food Service

Candidate Specification:

We are seeking a Customer Account Manager to be based within our Sales Office in St Neots, Cambridgeshire. This position is to be responsible for key account growth and retention by continually meeting Coveris’ small customer account needs from a service and quality perspective. The role will predominately be office based but some external travel will be required.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Develop new customer lists for Food Service growth, using market experience from the Food Service Category
  • Deliver proactive account management to a portfolio of small customer accounts
  • Plan regular update meetings with your existing accounts working to meet all of their requirements
  • Growing the Sales and profitability of accounts
  • Negotiating pricing and commercial terms and contract within the agreeable standards for your customers
  • Forecasting demand and liaising with supply chain to ensure continuity of supply

Key Requirements:

  • Strong and experienced sales person with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Have organisational and time management skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Passionate and enthusiastic commitment to shared goals and objectives
  • Travel maybe required therefore a current driving licence would be an advantage
  • 2-3 years commercial, sales account management expereince in a equivalent role would be an advantage

This role would suit a an individual with Customer Service/Internal Sales expereince within an FMCG or packaging environment who is driven and passionate and looking for the next step in their career.
