Currently recruiting for an Account Manager to join their team in West Sussex, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing accounts, providing an excellent level of customer service at all times. Servicing prestigious clients across food, beverage, cosmetics and healthcare markets, you will develop and implement effective account strategies using the MIS system to manage orders and produce reports.
Reporting to the Customer Service Team Leader, you will work to build a close working relationship with your customers, communicating their expectations alongside the businesses capabilities effectively both internally and externally. Working as part of the customer service team, you will be aware of the sales strategy development and will strive to achieve targets for individual accounts as well as for the site as a whole. Occasionally, you will have the opportunity to visit customers externally, you must therefore demonstrate technical competence.
In order to turn this opportunity into a reality you must:
- Have previous experience in a similar role within the packaging industry, ideally for a packaging manufacturer
- Have a good working knowledge of excel
- Demonstrate good problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise work applying a high attention to detail
