Our client is a manufacturer of printed folded cartons for a range of market sectors including food, now established in an outstanding modern factory they are looking to build on recent investments in new machinery and have a requirement for an experienced external salesperson to be based in the UK.

Our client is looking for an experienced field based sales professional with a strong track record of winning and developing both existing and new customers. The successful candidate (or candidates) will report directly to the managing director and for the right person there are good opportunities to progress your career further within this growing business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the generation of new business and managing a portfolio of existing accounts worth between £2-5million

Market Sectors: Specifically foods and other retail sectors e.g DIY, Household goods but big push on food, confectionary, bakery, frozen and chilled

Geographical Area: to be discussed and agreed with the candidate dependent on their location
You should be able to demonstrate the following skills, experience and qualifications

  • A proven track record of success within a sales position
  • A good understanding of the folding carton manufacturing process
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills and the ability to understand and solve problems for clients.
  • The ability to work remotely from home although there will be regular visits to the factory

Develop and execute a clear and logical sales activity plans.

The successful candidate will receive an excellent remuneration package.
