Our client is a market leading packaging manufacturer with an impeccable reputation in the industry they produce high quality printed packaging for the food industry.

Our client is currently looking to recruit a Senior Technical and Quality Resource with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the packaging industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring a timely response to customer complaints and implementation of effective corrective actions
  • Recording customer complaints collating and reporting associated costs
  • Monitoring effectiveness of corrective actions / corrective action audits
  • Providing technical support to sales and customers
  • Visiting customers to discuss technical issues with current business and potential new business
  • Agreeing technical specifications with customers
  • Answering technical and legislative queries from customers
  • Dealing with customer visits providing onsite technical support to sales for business review meetings etc
  • To support new business implementation to ensure right first time results
  • Develop and manage customer technical specifications
  • Give technical support to existing and potential customers
  • Build strong & positive relations with customers at various levels; by providing outstanding technical customer service for all products
  • To create, analysis and present internally and externally technical data related to customer requests and / or investigations
  • To support the investigation of quality issues in terms of technical measurement and analysis
  • Support the Business Development agenda by providing new solutions to new customers 
  • To work with R&D to provide technical input and support for new product developments
  • To keep the company informed of the latest technical developments within the folding carton sector

  • Agree targets and standards with team members, which support the achievement of the organisations objectives
  • Agree performance measures work schedules and resource requirements, which will ensure team targets will be achieved
  • Agree with team members the allocation of tasks, rotating responsibilities as appropriate to achieve flexibility and the best use of the skills and capabilities of team members
  • Co-ordinate the work of the team to ensure that team goals are reached
  • Agree with team members any corrective action required to ensure that the teams goals are met
  • Conduct individual reviews of performance to agree areas for improvement and personal development plans
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical issues to both technical and non-technical customers
