Our Client is a large, independent Packaging Distributor based in the South East, they are looking to employ a competent telemarketing candidate to join their existing team.

Our client is undergoing huge investment within their business and is looking for a strong cold caller who is looking to progress their career; my client will consider ANY background as long as you have experience working in a telesales / cold calling environment.

There is the opportunity within this role to progress to a team leader level position, you will be working for a really nice company within a great team.  Leads and data are passed over to you and you are welcome to attend exhibitions and trade shows and also invite prospective customers to the companies brand new innovation centre.

Responsibilities / Requirements: 

  • Reporting to the Marketing Manager 
  • Responsible for setting and achieving lead generation and telemarketing targets.
  • Telemarketing experience 
  • Lead generation experience and use of a variety of lead generation tools 
  • Day to day telemarketing execution; making and managing calls.  Lead generation.  CRM Management accordingly. 
  • Plan telemarketing strategy  
  • Make telemarketing calls
  • Fulfil telemarketing admin tasks
  • Report telemarketing performance
  • Report telemarketing performance
  • Lead generation methods
  • Lead research
  • Lead entry
  • Follow through leads
  • Attend marketing meeting,
  • Work with assistant marketing manager to achieve marketing department goals


  • Verbal and written persuasive skills. 
  • Able to work to clean, smart design parameters with consistency and creativity. 
  • Understand the principles behind a CRM system, knowledge of workflow and reporting. 
  • System thinker. 
  • Articulate, with a good grasp of English grammar. 
  • Clear telephone skills. 
  • Good interpersonal, teamwork skills - enjoy working as a team towards a common goal. 
  • Innovative and forward thinking. 
  • Ability to work alone; plan, organise, and deliver targets. Ability to present directly to the management team.
