Market leading packaging company looking for experienced salesperson / National Account Manager ideally in Automotive or Aerospace.
SALARY: £50,000 - £55,000 depending on experience, OTE c£55,000-£60,000.

THE COMPANY - National Account Manager
We are the largest distributor of packaging products in the UK, employing over 750 people nationwide and a turnover in excess of £185 million.
They have 24 Regional Distribution Centres throughout the UK, 4 manufacturing sites in the UK, Ireland & Sweden along with a recently opened Innovation Lab which offers smart solutions to clients packaging challenges. They provide packaging solutions to some of the most well- known and prestigious retail brands as well major industry sectors, including, Automotive, Aerospace, Medical, Pharmaceutical and Electronics.
This role has been created due to current company growth, projected growth plans, and the number of opportunities that have arisen in new and existing markets.
PRIMARY PURPOSE – National Account Manager
To maintain current growth, they wish to recruit a National Account Manager for the Midlands and Southern Counties to maintain and develop sales to a range of Industrial sectors that will include Aerospace, Automotive Medical, Pharmaceutical and Electronics. Whilst the role will be a split of new business and Account management, you will be required to split the time evenly to develop sustainable growth.
You will be required to sell at all levels, ranging from shop floor through to senior management and be used to mid-long lead times to develop tailored customer packaging solutions with tangible value to clients.
PERSON SPECIFICATION- National Account Manager
We are interested in hearing from a career minded business to business Salesperson selling with a solutions orientated approach. They would be particularly keen in receiving applications from candidates with knowledge and experience of tier 1 or tier 2 suppliers to the automotive market or Aerospace Industry. If you have any knowledge of the packaging industry, that would be of great interest. However the quality of the person is the most important criteria.
You will have a demonstrable track record of success and be self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality and business profit. You must have good attention to detail and be very much a strategic thinker. A natural forward planner who critically assesses your own performance. You will be credible and comfortable in dealing with both internal and external contacts and have the gravitas which enables you to access all levels of contact within the target businesses and sectors.
