Together with their global network of converters, they develop smarter packaging solutions that reduce costs, boost brands thanks to improved design, and contribute towards smoother logistics and a cleaner environment. They have a turnover of SEK 20 billion and employ 4,400 people in 13 countries.

For the business segment Specialty Papers, they are now looking to recruit a Sales Manager - Speciality Papers based in Italy, Spain or France. Speciality Papers includes paper for flexible packaging, technical paper, release liner and medical paper. The role that we are recruiting will sell paper for flexible and medical packaging. To join their dynamic team, the company is looking for a commercially driven individual who knows the packaging paper industry. The Sales Manager will report directly to the Sales Director – Speciality Papers and will be responsible for a South European region, dependent on the candidate’s language skills

The role:


  • Maximise revenue and margin generation by turning business offers into sales
  • Answer for and fulfil sales plan for one’s customer according to strategy and business plan
  • Be responsible for identifying and developing the customer base within the identified sales area
  • Initiate, maintain and develop existing and new customer relations
  • Be responsible for the establishment of commercial  agreements with customers, according to the company’s policy
  • Identify prospects and develop new business
  • Plan and execute activities to meet targets for volume, margin and customer satisfaction
  • Monitor and provide market intelligence on market trends and competitor activities
  • Provide prompt and regular communication of activities - visit reports, projects status updates, etc.
  • Adhere to and support company processes with appropriate document/form submissions - expenses, trial orders, complaints, etc.
  • Establish connections with parties beyond current converting customers to create relations with brand owners and retailers

The role can also involve:-

  • Key account responsibility
  • A leading role in marketing and sales development project
  • Mentoring a colleague

Your profile:

  • University Degree or corresponding competence
  • The role covers markets across Italy, France, Spain, Portugal and/or Switzerland, depending on the individual’s language skills
  • Excellent English and Italian skills is a requirement, and ideally also French and/or Spanish
  • Value based sales approach
  • Good product and technical knowledge with Packaging Paper, Packaging
  • Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in international B2B sales
  • Good negotiator in high level commercial discussions
  • Set and follow up targets
