£GENUINELY FLEXIBLE / NEGOTIABLE Depending On Experience + 20 Days Holiday (Increasing by 1 Day Per Year To A Maximum of 23 Days) + Private Pension and Healthcare (Following completing probationary period) 

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with a 30 minute lunch break

As part of a packaging group, our client is a leading UK manufacturer of Bespoke Corrugated packaging and aims to be both innovative and creative in the solutions provided whilst offering the most appropriate and effective solutions designed to meet their customers’ objectives.

Reporting directly to the Design Manager, the Designer will develop/be responsible for: 

  • A thorough understanding of Artios or Kasemake CAD
  • Produce pallet plans using Cape Pack Software
  • Interpret design briefs to develop and produce innovative packaging designs for manufacture 
  • Ensure production ready files are processed to the required quality standard and procedure
  • Produce high quality prototypes for customer approval
  • Liaising with suppliers to originate new stereos and cutters
  • To raise/create Specifications on SPOCS system
  • To perform board Analysis producing accurate results
  • Calculate box compression to determine board grade required 
  • Support and Communicate effectively with customers/sales team/production and suppliers
  • To work as part of a team in a fast paced cutting edge business
