My client is a European supplier of packaging products with converting plants and Mills across Europe. They provide solutions across 60 Countries and turnover annually in excess of €300 million employing over 1000 staff. They provide Cardboard solutions to the food, beverage and fresh produce markets as well as luxury products and a wide range of stationary.

This role has been created due to current company growth, projected growth plans, and the number of opportunities that have arisen in new and existing markets.


The Primary objective is to secure and strengthen the continuity and growth of the production in the location, in line with current and future customer needs and in line with the company’s quality, SHE and performance KPI’s, considering the short and long term objectives and ambitions of the company. You will continuously work with the team on the improvement of processes and the development of new products and services, with a clear focus on cost control in order to offer competitive solutions to their customers

You will be a “go-getter”, very energetic and determined to succeed. A strong negotiator ambitious and results orientated, you will have excellent people management skills and be a bright analytical thinker.

REQUIREMENTS - Plant Manager - Packaging Solutions

We are interested in hearing from a career minded experienced individual with a background in Mass Production and ideally P & L responsibility in a production setting as well as a good working knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies. Any higher education qualification with a technical background would be beneficial, but not essential, as would any knowledge of the Packaging Industry, however the quality of the person is the most important criteria.

You will have a demonstrable track record of success and be self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality and business profit. You must have good attention to detail and be very much a strategic thinker. A natural forward planner who critically assesses your own performance. You will be credible and comfortable in dealing with all levels and have excellent IT skills.
