CUT AND CREASE OPERATOR – PACKAGING (PK5017)

 

Our Client based in the North East is a privately owned litho print, carton manufacturer and mailing house with their own extensive finishing kit. They have dedicated customer service and account management teams, both office and field-based, which offer clients a broad knowledge base covering Print, Packaging, Database Management, Mailing and complex fulfilment. The company sells into a range of markets, such as Finance, FMCG, Manufacturing and Communications.

They are currently looking for Cut and Crease Operator to join their team.

Duties:

  • To make ready and run a Cut & Crease machine and its associated ancillary equipment to their optimum efficiency
  • To maximise efficiencies and quality to minimise waste
  • To follow all quality systems and procedures within the department
  • Maintain good housekeeping in the area
  • Conduct planned maintenance
  • Continuously develop skills & working practices in line with world class manufacturing standards
  • To work in line with lean manufacturing principles
  • Working knowledge of stripping and blanking essential
  • Flexibility (overtime necessary during peak periods)
  • Ability to work under strict deadline and targets
  • Accuracy & attention to detail

Shift 34 Hour Week - Earlies / Lates / Nights – No Weekends (7.17 hour days)
