Key Account Manager | Corrugated POS & Packaging | East Midlands | Generous Package  

The speciality division of one of the world’s leading packaging groups this company manufacture high quality retail packaging, litho lam and 3D POS to the highest of standards and have established a reputation as one of the foremost providers to the value added market.

The focus of the role will be on building strategic relationships and ensuring the customer offering is always on top form.

Day-to-day you will be responsible for:

  • Successfully managing all aspects of the business relationship within a defined customer base
  • Supporting the Sales Manager/Sales Director in the generation of sales targets and budgets
  • Providing market analysis (including competitor activity and market trends) as required to support strategic business development
  • Project managing the introduction of new customers into the business ensuring their effective handover to the internal customer service teams
  • Providing accurate short, medium and long term forecasts as necessary to support business planning activities
  • Developing initiatives to maximise account growth

Key attributes required:

  • Experience of a packaging manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills
  • Good knowledge of retail POS
  • Knowledge of the business/manufacturing process
  • Commercial awareness (including estimating and pricing)
  • PC skills (including PowerPoint/Excel/Word)
  • Full driving licence
