Our Client a leading labelling solutions and brand management provider to the clothing industry. With a full range of self-adhesive labels, tags, swing tickets, woven and care labels, barcoding and security labels they have many of the worlds most recognised clothing brands as clients.

They are currently looking to recruit a Global Key Account Manager to join their team.

New Business Development:

  • Prospect for potential new clients and turn into increased business
  • Keep a pipeline of opportunities, research and identify potential clients and decision makers
  • Cold call, e-mail and send in the latest marketing materials
  • Attend industry functions, events, conferences etc, present feedback on new trends, markets and also competitors
  • Set up meetings either in person, phone or skype with client decision makers on regular basis, 6 per week
  • Plan approach/pitch to specific needs of the potential new client
  • Handle objections/differences within first meetings and agree positive conclusion
  • Price negotiation, buying and selling

Client Retention:

  • Keep up existing client relationships by presenting new products and services
  • Work with design/sales/marketing staff to meet client needs
  • Arrange client internal and external debriefs, minute meetings and pass back to client and also account co-ordinator

Management & Research:

  • Submit monthly progress reports
  • Track, record account activity that help to close deals
  • Team members represent the company in the best light
  • Mentor account managers and other internal staff
  • Understand the company goal/purpose to enhance the company's performance
  • Reports to line Manager, MD monthly sales V budget figures

  • Cost effectiveness, stock write off cost, sample cost, own expenses cost
