Business Development Manager
My client is a well-respected coatings manufacturer supplying the packaging, consumables and tapes sectors. They are looking for someone with a real determination and hunger to win new business within this niche industry.
- Reporting into the Sales & Director you will be tasked will developing a strategic plan to develop new business whilst handling any accounts that are won in order to build your portfolio.
- Targeting key individuals in the packaging, consumables and tapes business’ across Europe and building relationships.
- You will be required to gain good technical knowledge surrounding the products in order to offer a solution based sell.
- Using a keen understanding of the market, you will develop a tailored offering to the customer.
- This position is one that offers a successful candidate a real chance at progression through the company, carving a serious career within the business.
- Identify and generate new business opportunities; whilst ensuring working relationships with new contacts remain strong and prosperous, through effective pitching of goods and services.
- A demonstrable track record of sales success within Packaging, coatings, label environments would be ideal.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage and complete new projects.
- The role is ideal for someone with a real eye for business; and someone who has a real desire to develop new business.
- Degree level education is advantageous although not necessary.
- Enthusiasm and an ardent desire to succeed are important.
- A strong work ethic combined with a good time management and a pragmatic approach is essential.
