Job summary
As a member of the European Sales & Marketing team, reporting to the Sales Manager, the selected candidate will be accountable for the Sales and Customer relationship development of the sales activity for Poland. The sales activities can range from developing and managing the customer portfolio, to preparing the budget or solving customer-related issues.
Our client is looking for a talented and motivated professional who will embrace the company’s values and business model and translate them into real business opportunities and long-term relationships with customers as well as driving business growth into new markets.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Sales strategy and planning: 
·    Provide necessary data to establish both Global and Regional targets and customer strategies
·    Consistently deploys the company’s strategy in support of customers growth, innovation and strategy 
·    Provide Senior Management with all market intelligence necessary to assess and understand the business (customers, competitors, market trends, technological trends…)

Business growth / Market Research and analysis:
·    Analyze market potential to identify new customer opportunities (geographies and products) 
·    Work closely with the Research & Development team to develop innovative value propositions for current and new customers
·    Execute prospection activity to generate and maintain the required sales pipeline volume and generate the expected growth

Sales management and negotiations
·    Establish and maintain key relationships at all levels in the customer’s organization
·    Manage and develop a portfolio of existing customers
·    Identify critical sales issues and take actions as required
·    Ensure that support and advice is sought from supervisor or management when the problem cannot be resolved by himself/herself 
·    Provide timely alerts to the management when issues are likely to escalate
·    Lead on bids and contract negotiations as required
·    Ensure an optimal service level is provided to the customers
·    Develop and maintain an efficient working cooperation with internal partners (Sales Team, European Technical team, Research & Development Team, Operations, Logistics, Finance) and ensure that all internal services involved support the process 

Budget and financial performance / Reporting and forecasting:
·    Ensure follow up of financial indicators
·    Actively contributes to the preparation of the annual sales budget and follows and properly tracks its evolution
·    Ensure the generated sales meet the company’s profitability requirements 
·    Ensure payment of account receivables in a timely manner
·    Provide Senior Management with regular reports, statistics, and all required qualitative and quantitative information on the activity
·    Ensure that the necessary technical and financial information required for quotations is provided in a timely manner
·    Deliver financial results (budget-cost-margins-EBITDA) 
·    Develop and make sure that an effective reporting and forecasting system is put in place
·    Closely collaborate with the Finance department and plant management

Candidate requirements 
·    University degree in Engineering, Science and/or graduated from a Business school
·    First experience in Sales (Business Development and/or Account Management) within the Polish market
·    Experience in an international environment
·    Experience in Business Controlling/Finance will be a PLUS

·    Capable to present and sell technical solutions to a wide customer base and lead negotiation process
·    Willing to learn about the blow molding/packaging business. 
·    An experience in the plastic packaging industry, or alternatively in other material segment in packaging is a plus

·    High level of written and verbal communication skills 
·    Excellent ability to negotiate and win business
·    Commercial awareness and entrepreneurial flair
·    Innovative mindset 
·    Strong teamwork skills and self-confident
·    Ability to manage and report in line with the business expectations
·    Objective oriented and accountable
·    You may be required to travel at least 50% of working time.
