My client is a leading European glass manufacturer with a reputation for a high quality product range and innovation pipeline. Because of a change in strategic focus, the business is looking to pursue significant growth and as such is looking for a Technical Sales Manager to build on their already enviable client list by targeting the spirits, alcohol beverages and soft beverages utilising a solutions and projects based approach.

The Role

  • Reporting to the Operations Director you will be responsible for maintaining a healthy focus on developing a multimillion existing portfolio.
  • Comfortable “owning” large, blue-chip key accounts you must be able to demonstrate a strong networking ability in order to develop a strong pipeline of opportunities with existing customers.
  • In addition, a vital element of this position is to show the tenacity and drive necessary to drive business relationships and demonstrate both your personal and the companies’ unique selling points.
  • Highly profit focused you will need to demonstrate a strong grasp of all technical and commercial elements in order to drive profitable revenue growth.
  • An excellent relationship builder you will network both internally and externally to generate new opportunities for yourself and the wider business.

The Requirements

  • Ideally, you should have a demonstrable record of accomplishment of business development within the spirits, alcohol beverages and soft beverage industries.
  • Of upmost importance is your ability to demonstrate a passion to succeed and a willingness to develop lasting relationships.
  • You will also possess strong customer facing skills, able to engage with the customer and drive strong working relationships.
  • Highly numerate you will have a flair for numbers and an ability to demonstrate an exceptional record of accomplishment of business achievement.
