Business Development Manager
A market leading corrugated packaging solutions company, renowned for delivering best in class performance in terms of quality and service, and provides personal attention to every customer to help them achieve their objective, is looking to expand their highly esteemed sales team.
This innovative packaging solutions company is looking for a charismatic Business Development Manager to create new business opportunities within a geographical area.
Main duties will include the following:
• Creating own leads in accordance with sales strategy
• Developing and generating new business with new / existing customers.
• Maintaining relationship with existing customers - product development
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Resolving serious customer credit/quality issues
• Follow up all enquiries
• Ensure Credit checks are conducted / approved on new business.
• Where necessary support accounts department in debt chasing on overdue customer accounts.
This client facing role will therefore require a candidate with excellent verbal and written communication skills. We are looking for an enthusiastic, sales focused individual who oozes drive. Candidates must also have strong negotiation skills, plenty of initiative and able to act independently.
Applicants must also tick the following boxes:
• 2 years plus experience of face to face sales out in the field
• 2 years plus new business experience
• Commercial industry experience
