Business Development Manager - B1 UV Premium Packaging / Printed Folded Cartons – Whisky & Drinks | Scotland

Overview:

Excellent opportunities to join the Business Development team and grow within the organisation selling wide range of packaging products for a large and well established global packaging and print company. Exciting recent investment with state of the art investment in a B1 UV packaging press installed at Scottish plant to produce premium folding cartons. Extensive links to the Scottish Whisky and Drinks markets with credible production equipment at the Bellshill production facility that can print B1 UV packaging and produce high value embellishments including foiling, embossing, die-cutting and gluing onsite to support customer requirements. Company recently acquired premium quality swing tag manufacturing operations based in Nottingham that has the largest stringing capability in UK.

Key responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and winning new business selling a diverse range of products such as folded printed cartons, digital and wet glue labels and product swing tags
  • Using well trusted sales techniques to maximise sales for the packaging business across the product range
  • Managing, developing and growing existing packaging business across Scotland
  • Building strong and long-lasting commercial relationships creating real opportunities for future sales growth

Key attributes required:

  • Proven track record in sales and business development within the Whisky / Drinks packaging sectors
  • Positive sales approach, good connections and wide sector knowledge
  • Ability to build long standing customer relationships focussing on every account with positivity and clarity
  • Experience and confidence to develop innovation and quality within the account
