£Generous Basic Salary + Quarterly and Year End Bonus's based on team targets

Our client is leading provider of labels, label printers, maintenance, service and support, label printing software, barcode scanners and portable data capture systems for a wide variety of industries. Since its foundation the company has amassed considerable experience in supplying barcode, tracking and auto ID solutions to the automotive and aerospace industries as well as retail supply chain, warehousing, distribution, logistics and healthcare.

They are currently recruiting for a Sales Executive in a mainly office based position to work as a 'right hand man' to the UK Sales Manager, to develop new & existing business. The ideal candidate will have a good technical understanding of labelling and associated hardware, software, consumables and service contracts and be able to offer technical support to less experienced administrators.

The Role

  • Selling both quality printed self adhesive labels and labelling hardware & solutions
  • Mainly office based with occasional client visits
  • To win new business that meets the agreed criteria (location, margin & market sectors)
  • Conduct in depth market research to establish potential prospects/customers, with focus on establishing new business gains in the UK
  • Devise creative, "out-of-the-box" ideas and implement them
  • Be responsible and accountable for meeting deadlines
  • Gathering market intelligence to assist in supporting sales initiatives.
  • Briefing in colleagues on new enquiries and enquiry progress.
  • Resolving customer issues quickly and effectively.
