Our client is one of the world's largest suppliers of premium presentation packaging, they work directly with premium brands throughout the world to design, manufacture and fulfil innovative, quality and cost-effective packaging.
They are currently looking to recruit a Business Development Executive to help them embark upon a new exciting phase of growth.
Responsibilities / Requirements:
- Successful prospection and conversion of new profitable business opportunities within the Luxury Packaging market
- Establishing long term client relationships in these markets founded on growth
- A record of solution-based sales success based on client / market knowledge matched to production capability
Experience:
- Current experience in the luxury packaging business ideally in the rigid box and carton market
- Knowledge of working with remote manufacturing facilities ideally in Asia
- Good product knowledge of rigid box and cartons
- Existing relationships within the luxury packaging markets such as wines and spirits, homewares (porcelain, home fragrance etc), beauty, luxury fashion, luxury retailers etc.
- Use of CRM based systems to allow effective management of the sales process

- Significant commercial acumen to seek and deliver opportunities for maximum value
- Be target driven
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision in a remote working environment
- Good team working ability particularly managing remote relationships to achieve given goals
- Be able to 'hit the ground running' and self-generate opportunities
- Be confident and happy to cold call and conduct face to face sales
- Be enthusiastic
- Have a degree of gravitas and a professional demeanour
- Good project management skills to deliver client projects in an efficient and timely manner
- Able to work in a small company environment
- Be detail attentive and confident in multi-managing an array of customers and projects
- Able to build solid personal working relationships both internally and externally
- High levels of personal credibility and reliability delivering trust
- Be flexible on working hours when the need arises
- Mobile as this would be a nationwide role
- Have a keen interest in premium product / packaging
