The Division’s Innovation and Strategic Marketing function has a key role in developing new applications and solutions addressing well identified customer needs. The newly established Innovation Centre in Stockholm hosts versatile talents in research, business development and marketing working together to reach the company’s ambitious goals.
Division Biomaterials is now looking for a Manager Pulp mills, Infra and Projects, to the Pulp Competence Centre, reporting to Vice President PCC Technology and Projects. Your role will be to support and drive development of the industrial operations in the pulp mills specifically targeting capacity efficiency, capacity expansion, capacity reduction and asset quality.
⦁ Analyze the pulp mills performance and propose projects for improvement work towards the mill.
⦁ Perform regular project management duties, support internal customers in mill projects and provide recommendations on best practices to improve the mills operational efficiency.
⦁ Together with customer and project owners you will plan and manage concept studies for improvement and/or investments projects.
⦁ Planning, engineering and implementation of projects
⦁ Ensure that objectives of the own project area across all disciplines are achieved in accordance with agreed targets and project guidelines.
⦁ Prepare material required and report back on progress
⦁ Manage a team of professionals
Core Qualifications & Skills:
⦁ University Degree (MSc) with relevant faculty.
⦁ Post graduate work is of advantage
⦁ Financial training is preferred
⦁ 10 years of experience in specialist areas
⦁ Experience of process engineering and general engineering
⦁ Experience of project management and efficient planning
⦁ Knowledge in business economics P&L and investment planning
⦁ Proficient in engineering and planning tools and techniques
Personality Traits & Other abilities:
⦁ Good ability to develop and maintain an excellent contact network internally as well as with external stakeholders
⦁ Ability to act as project leader but also function as a team member as required
⦁ Expert knowledge of pulping processes and optimization work
⦁ Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complex issues related to overall strategy, sourcing, production and economy
⦁ Ability to function in a matrix organization and work independently based on directives given from project steering groups or mill management
⦁ Proven ability to supervise consultants/experts to expected outcome
⦁ Preferred multicultural, multilingual, internationally mobility and a flexible mindset
