Specialising within the Drinks Processing sector an Engineering Project Manager is being recruited to re-form and grow the projects offering.

SALARY: Up to £55,000

BENEFITS:

An owner managed business, operating in the beverage process and packaging industry.

The company started as a sales agency, representing European process and packaging machinery suppliers. The company has grown to offer installation and maintenance services, is an approved supplier to several global companies and shows year on year growth of revenue and profit.

JOB SPECIFICATION: Engineering Project Manager - Drinks Processing

Role Overview:
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Engineering Project Manager will be supervising the Project Engineers and be ultimately responsible for all aspects of the projects. The ideal candidate will also be involved in commercial decisions including growth and direction of the company.

Proven experience of project managing pipework and process equipment installation is necessary with health and safety qualifications being desirable.

This is an opportunity to join a young and dynamic company and the ideal candidate’s role will grow to supervise a team of Project Engineers / Managers.

Duties
Regular travel around the UK will be necessary, with occasional short term travel to EU countries for occasions such as FAT / PDI visits.

It is necessary to stay informed about all our products, projects and relationships. Product training will be given and the company’s principals will fully support the Engineering Project Manager.

The Engineering Project Manager will primarily be responsible for timely completion of all aspects of the project including but not limited to: Quoting, Project and Wrap up phases.

REQUIREMENTS: Engineering Project Manager - Drinks Processing

● Experience in engineering roles within the food and beverage sector;
● Ideally qualified to at least HNC level in Mechanical Engineering
● Health and safety qualifications including SMSTS, SSSTS, ISOSH and NEBOSH are desirable
● Project management experience is essential;
● Experience of managing subcontracts is essential;
● Some knowledge of beverage process and packaging marketplace would be an advantage;

It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services: Project Management, Project Engineering, Capex projects, Food & Beverage project experience.
