Position: Graphic Packaging Coordinator

Location: Glasgow

Salary: £Up to £30K plus car

The Company: Fmcg food manufacturer of own label dairy produce.

The Role: • To liaise directly with Own Label customers (marketing, origination, technical), and their nominated design /repro houses, including visits where necessary to ensure satisfactory critical paths, action plans are in place for all relevant projects. • Liaising with internal customers (Marketing departments, Account Managers, Packing Sites & Brand Managers) and nominated Packaging / Graphic suppliers to ensure awareness, accountability and fluent project delivery is maintained. • To control all Graphic packaging projects within their area, from implementation, critical path management, to launch via central work process tools. • To ensure all packaging meets internal & external customer quality expectations including ‘passing on press’ where necessary • To ensure all packaging meets legal, & where necessary, outside organisation’s requirements. • To maintain a flexible and dedicated manner to working hours necessary to ensure internal and external customers expectations are consistently met.

Requirements: • Minimum 3 years project coordination experience in an FMCG environment • Fluently PC literate (Word, Lotus Notes, Acrobat). • Experience in packaging design and/or print and origination (brand or own label) desirable. • An understanding of design/repro software applications (Illustrator, Artpro, Freehand & Photoshop etc) will be an advantage • An understanding of a wide variety of print processes (flexo, gravure, litho etc) desirable • A Level education or equivalent.
