Position: Managing Director – Pre Press Brand Management

The Company: My client is part of one of Europe’s market leaders in PrePress services and supplies within the packaging industry, offering a full service to an established customer base from design, artwork, repro, platemaking, proofing and consultancy. Their extensive experience across all print processes and close liaison with printers in all disciplines enables them to offer expert guidance. This is a £3.2 million turnover site with 40 employees based in the North. The Group as a whole has a Euro 400 million annual turnover employing 400 people across a number of European sites. The Group vision is to be the preferred PrePress partner to the European printing and packaging industry, the full strength of the Group will serve both local and international partners.

The Role: As MD you will have full operational responsibility, including financial result and human resources. My client has an established customer base which needs to be managed, maintained and developed but there will be a large emphasis on this role to ensure that new business is generated and retained to ensure future growth.

Requirements: The successful candidate will have a proven track record as either MD or in a senior management/ board level role. Good and proven commercial acumen is essential a long with knowledge of the pre press, print and/ or packaging sector. Good management of people, processes and change is essential to ensure the maintenance of the current client portfolio and the growth of new business.
