You’ll have a great opportunity to creatively develop packaging for some of the UK’s favorite beers.  To achieve this you’ll be working in project team’s including colleagues from Marketing, Technical, Production, and Strategic Sourcing.  You will report to the Head of Product and Packaging.

Your main responsibilities will involve:

• Developing prototype solutions, using your skills, experience, commercial awareness and creativity.
• Develop and prepare packaging which allows ideas under consideration to be effectively tested with consumers, and or customers.
• Managing projects to agreed timescales and costs, whilst ensuring the functions of the packaging are achieved.
• Managing the introduction of new packaging, in conjunction with Coors and contractors staff as appropriate
• Coaching and training staff as required to commercialize new packaging, ensuring a seamless transfer from development to production operations.
• Proactively resolve Packaging design issues, in Operations and/or in Trade.
• Maintain suitable records and reports to validate work undertaken.
• Document and communicate the packaging design changes in accordance with ISO procedures.

Your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

• Institute of Packaging qualified. 
• Educated to degree standard in a science related subject.
• Knowledge of ISO systems and FMCG development processes.
• Ability to network with outside organisations to gather innovation opportunities.
• Understanding of the process for gathering insight and innovation.
• Project management, coaching and communication skills.
