The Company:
The company are a large Print Group with sites right across the UK. They produce a variety of print including Web, Litho, Point of Sale and Direct Mail with products ranging from brochures and leaflets to books and magazines. They are one of the leaders in their market and are constantly winning new contracts whilst retaining an impressive portfolio of high profile clients.
The Role:
The role they are looking to fill is for a Night Operations Manager. The position will be responsible for Press Room, the Bindery and also Pre-Press. The successful applicant will be responsible for over 100 people during the night shift. The role will be working Monday - Thursday nights with occasional weekend work on a rotating basis.
Requirements:
Applicants MUST have strong man management skills and ideally have worked in a similar environment; a high volume, high pressure and time critical Web Offset Printers. The applicant must have a good understanding of print and the processes involved and must have experience of all the aspects of managing a factory such as HR issues, discipline and organising and overseeing the work load.
