Our client is a leading manufacturer of Packaging solutions and they are looking to appoint an experienced Sales Manager to support their growth plans within the UK. The position holds strong influence and the scope to quickly develop your career to Sales Director.
To drive new business sales forward as part of our clients Growth plans, by researching and sourcing potential business opportunities and contacts.
External support for the Sales Team engaging with existing customers.
To support and lead on new business tenders and proposals.
Following up business leads and identifying new sales opportunities.
Monitoring sales data and account performance of the sales team.
Identifying and analysing market trends including new market sectors.
Follow all internal business processes.
Setting up and attending client meetings.
Promoting the organisations additional products and services.
Preparing professional presentations for new clients.
Preparing and submitting formal business tenders and proposals.
Managing ongoing business accounts whilst building on the current relationships.
Achieve own sales targets with recognition of the impact on overall company performance.
Any other duties that may be required to meet the business needs.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Sound technical experience within the FIBC side of the Packaging industry.
Build relationships with people at all levels.
Clear understanding of Sales processes and new business development skills.
Accustomed and understands long sales processes.
Experience in Managing a Sales team.
High level of verbal and written communication skills.
Strong in client connection and client services.
Strong IT, CRM & Numeracy skills.
Open and honest, team spirited
Supporting Leadership management style
Ability to prioritise and manage own workload
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Strong responsibility, able to work under pressure.
