Client Profile:

A global Brand and a leading printed flexible laminate manufacturer with a growing UK presence having a strong sales position in Europe with both Food and non-food brands and manufacturers.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Proven track record in developing new business within the Printed flexible laminated packaging Food sector - e.g. Meat/Poultry/Seafood, Cheese & Dairy, Frozen Food, Snacks, Bakery etc.

In addition you will also possess key account management experience, (involving c.20% of time)

Proficient with all normal software applications (MS Office) and ideally CRM software

The Role:

Reporting to the  Sales Director, you will be responsible for new business development in the Food sector, in addition to responsibility for existing accounts his will involve dealing with blue chip clients and household names as well as developing new emerging companies in the food processing/co-packing sector.

Grow and maintain the customer base, using industry/market knowledge to source new business opportunities and establish new business sectors in line with the company growth strategy.

Excellent communication skills at all levels and a skilled negotiator.

Provide quotations and problem solve customers’ needs with full liaison with company’s Sales Support Team and UK colleagues

The role is home / field based position requiring to spend, (when established), a day a week at the Southern England sales office


Basic salary up to £50k pa dependent on experience; company car a structured bonus/commission incentive and 25 days holiday entitlement.
