Our client is a market leading folding carton manufacturer based in the North West, supplying to predominately the food market. They have an exceptional reputation for their outstanding levels of quality and service.

They are currently looking to recruit a Process Engineer to work alongside the departmental Managers to discover inefficiencies in business processes and determine the best ways to bring business methods in line with financial goals.

Main Duties:

  • Analyse work flows within and across all departments to determine how the company can work better together
  • Review the KPI monitoring systems and determine ways to improve their ability to maintain company operations
  • Create an analytical process that justifies business decisions
  • Analyse capital expenditures and project designs to help find ways to cut costs
  • Maintain an updated outlook on all associated business costs and deliver a quarterly report on pertinent industry trends to the management team
  • Assessing processes, taking measurements and interpreting data
  • Production Support
  • Identifying efficiency limitations including make ready, down time and outputs to deliver measured improvements
  • Developing and overseeing projects for Process Improvement to overcome limitations
  • Developing relationships and partnerships with Managers and Operational staff to train and deliver KPI's
  • Attend daily Production Meetings
  • Overseeing projects from start to finish, including kick off meetings, review meetings & operations liaison and ensure the project is formally closed off on completion
  • Escalating problems quickly to the Senior Management and help to identify and instigate solutions
  • Ensuring your projects adhere to Health and Safety legislation

Minimum Skill / Qualification Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or related discipline required
  • Demonstrated success in process improvements and project management
  • Excellent eye for detail
  • Proven history in improving supply chain efficiency
  • Must be comfortable with integrating new technology into an existing business environment
  • 5+ years in quality or business process engineering
