Based in Vienna

The client:

Our client is a world leader in the production of petrochemicals and gas processing. Amongst its range of activities is the processing of raw natural liquids and the treatment of hydrocarbons. 

As part of its continual drive for improvement, the company is seeking a results-driven individual to develop new opportunities, as well as grow their market share for the BOPP section of the company. 

The role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the sales department of a successful company to promote sales of BOPP film across Europe. The successful candidate can be located either in Vienna or in any other Western European country. A market competitive salary and a benefits package is included in this offer.

You will be responsible for selling the company’s products, whilst monitoring the market and utilizing good knowledge gained within the film applications. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

⦁    Developing new business for the company through effective promotion of the BOPP film products to existing, as well as new, clients
⦁    Keeping abreast of market trends and intelligence
⦁    Identifying and developing new potential customers through market search, networking and meetings
⦁    Monitoring of frame contracts and contracts with 3rd parties
⦁    Overseeing all supply chain activities (product flow, planning, factory stocks and production)
⦁    Overseeing all working capital activities (stock, production, payments)
⦁    Claim management
⦁    Proactively participating in the development of the business plan and strategy of the company 

Requirements: 

⦁    Experience of BOPP film products 
⦁    At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
⦁    Good educational background in a technical or economical discipline; a Master’s Degree would be preferable
⦁    Good communications skills; ability to work face to face with clients in order to open new business opportunities
⦁    Customer-oriented
⦁    Fluency in both written and spoken English is a requirement
⦁    Mobile – available to travel frequently (around 40%)
