Our Client is a long established manufacturer & supplier of standard and bespoke decorative packaging for the Cosmetics, Skincare & Fragrance industries.
They are currently looking to recruit a Sales & Marketing Executive to work alongside the existing team to help to define strategy and bring new ideas to the business. The role could be home based but regular travel to the office is preferred. You will be responsible for management of existing customer accounts and the administration and office support required to ensure premium service and delivery. You will be tasked with business development and will be confident in your ability to seek out and secure potential new business opportunities. You will also be involved in marketing yourself and the business to help with strategic development.
Personality: Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook. A natural forward planner who critically assesses own performance. Able to get on with others and be a team-player. Interpersonal and communication skills. IT and Social Media savvy
Specific Job Skills: Able to communicate via written media. Understands the principles of marketing and advertising cost-effectiveness, including market sector targeting, product offer development, features-benefits-solutions selling etc. Must be an excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator. Able to demonstrate success and experience managing major accounts customers and large contracts particularly achieving genuine sales development.
An ideal background would be in packaging for healthcare, cosmetics and toiletries markets.
Literacy and Numeracy: Able to understand profit and loss calculations and basic business finance, e.g., gross margin percentages and calculations, depreciation, capital and revenue expenditure, cash-flow, overheads, etc.
