Monocle International are seeking a highly driven Sales Manager with a background within Food Manufacturing or Food packaging for a large Packaging company.
You will have had a number of years as a key account manager or sales manager, ideally within a Food packaging environment and more recently will have managed a small team of Sales executives. You will be highly motivated; working towards set KPI’s. You will have an understanding of food and hygiene standards with the ability to communicate at all levels and customer service will be of the highest priority to you.
Reporting directly to the Commercial Director you will be responsible for:
- Generating new leads and converting in to Sales,
- Managing and developing key accounts,
- Supporting the development of new products
- managing our large portfolio of food based customers
- experience working with well-known brands could be an advantage
- ability to negotiate well and be customer focused
- a successful sales track record within a similar business is essential for this role
- experience with a range of packaging materials could be an advantage
- this role will involve some travel between sites and to and from customer sites
- Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively
- Degree or MA level within Business, Marketing or a similar filed
- Ability to influence decision making
