£20K + OTE + 29 Days Holiday Including Bank Holidays

Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday - 8:00am to 5:00pm, Friday - 8:00am to 4:30pm

Our client is a well-established corrugated and heavy duty packaging company based in the North West. They are currently looking to recruit a Machine Operator to join their production team.

You will be responsible for operating and maintain manufacturing machinery, working in dedicated capacity specialising in a single machine or class of machines.

Ability to read works orders or production schematics is necessary.

  • Report any faults to the works engineer as well as any safety issues or concerns

  • Operate a range of machinery to manufacture corrugated packaging
  • Maintain and monitor machine to make sure it functions properly

  • Verify adequate materials and supplies are available to complete operations
  • Analyse machine operations and output if applicable
  • Adjust machine as needed for changeovers, different functions, or other varying needs of production
