We are looking for exceptionally talented and highly creative Packaging Designers and Creative Artworkers, to join our highly inspiring British games & entertainment brand. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about design and an avid fan of this sector !. We are seeking someone who demonstrates a passion for all things creative and able to raise the standard of creativity within our business.

 

You will be proactive, driven, hard-working, organised and level headed.  To support a small and busy creative team, you will have lots of opportunity to enhance the design, bringing creative concepts to life and produce high quality production ready artwork for print. Maintaining the highest standards

 

On a day to day, you will be required to effectively manage various projects, across a range of platforms, including packaging, product, display graphics, marketing collateral and digital online designs etc.  Experience in packaging would be required, and you will have gained experience and a thorough print knowledge in a previous role.  You will have no problem setting up artwork for print. Create new, original and exciting design concept. Originate, develop and create new toy product designs.

 

In addition to this, you will be able to turn a project around swiftly with no loss of quality, and be able to demonstrate excellent multi-tasking and spot on time management skills.  

 

You will be required to act as brand guardian and apply amends to artworks and designs, ensuring a high level of accuracy is maintained.

 

You will be expected to effectively manage your own daily workload within agreed timescales – communicating effectively with internal stakeholders 

 

You will possess a high level of creativity and a well-developed aesthetic sensibility, demonstrated through a portfolio of strong creative work.

 

Work as a team to help check others work within the studio, to give 3rd eye perspective.

 

You must have at least  2 years’ experience working in a studio or similar environment.

 

A thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign packages) is vital.

 

Ability to give clear brief and art directing a photo shoot.

 

Additional retouching and visualisation skills will be required Excellent technical knowledge when setting up packaging artwork is essential Solid grounding in repro and print processes Exceptional organisation and communication skills - you must be confident and happy to present your ideas to all levels of the business Experience in  games & entertainment sector would be advantageous & a fast worker with meticulous (if not obsessive) attention to detail !
