Monocle International are working in partnership with a vibrant and forward thinking business to source an experienced L & D Manager to join our highly successful HR function. 

As the new L&D manager, you will be joining a highly successful, innovative organisation, whom are an established and trusted Manufacturer of Luxury products showing continued year on year growth.

Main responsibilities: 

As our new L&D Manager, you will be responsible for the innovation and design of tailored development programmes for talent and leadership across the business, with the aim of driving forwards organisational strategy. You will be responsible for overseeing successful implementation of these strategies by continuously working in collaboration with all line managers and the HR team across all sites. As well as working in partnership with line managers and leaders to delivery on strategy, you will pro-actively support all line managers in offering ongoing coaching, online learning and mentoring and offering relevant training courses at the correct and appropriate level. You will further manage your own HR team effectively, ensuring generalist functions are well maintained although this is not your primary focused. You will be a trusted member of our overall management structure so it is important you can communicate effectively at all times.  

To be successful in this role you may:

-Have experience working with and supporting senior leaders within a manufacturing  environment,

- A leader and effective communicator,

- A supporter and developer of people / a keen mentor,

- Someone with a thirst for learning and development,

-Sharer of knowledge,

-Developer of staff at all levels particularly senior management,

-Ability to develop and promote strategy across the organisation,

- Working closely with leaders to devise succession planning for the organisation,

-A senior HR related qualification, Degree, MA or similar, 

-A management development course or certifiate could be an advantage, 

-An understanding of lean manufacturing could be an advantage.
