NEW BUSINESS SALES - RIGID HDPE, PP & PET PACKAGING

NORTH WEST (OR COMMUTABLE)

Up to £35K + Car + Uncapped Bonus + Pension

Our client specialises in rigid plastic packaging supplying into a wide variety of consumer and industrial market sectors.

They are currently seeking a New Business Sales Executive to sell their full product range with a focus on developing rigid containers, jars, buckets and other business in Chemical, Food, Pharmaceutical & Oils sectors.

You will ideally be based from home / visiting clients three days and office based twice a week. Working closely with a small team full of characters with open and forthright dialogue whilst being very helpful and supportive of each other. It's a fun collaborative atmosphere and everyone knows their role and new people are made to feel very welcome. The company as a whole feels very much like a family with many people socialising outside work. Everyone including senior management is very approachable and nobody is expected to do excessive hours, it many ways it is actively discouraged.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a proven track record in winning new business
  • Have very strong negotiating skills
  • Have strong Excel/ Outlook skills
  • Have an understanding of HDPE, PET & PP products
  • Have experience selling packaging products (ideally plastic rigid containers) to Chemicals, Oils, Food and Pharmaceutical industries
  • Software Package experience in MS Office (Excel is crucial) & Custom CRM System

Day to day duties include:

  • 100% new business - Focusing on UN Stackable Containers but also working with Plastic Buckets, Large Drums etc
  • Visiting potential customers
  • Developing and maintaining a lasting relationship with all customers
  • Gathering market intelligence to assist in supporting sales initiatives
  • Developing and implementing strategies that will result in increased sales
  • Organising and preparation of sales presentations and quotations
  • Informing new and prospective clients of new product development
  • Briefing in colleagues on new enquiries and enquiry progress
  • Resolving customer issues quickly and effectively
  • Organising and overseeing client visits to company locations
  • Support - Assistance with lead generation and quoting, exceptional client lead database
