Salary dependant on experience + 25 days holiday a year + 3% contributory pension
Hours Monday to Friday: 9am - 5:30pm

Job Purpose:
To manage and grow relationships with a portfolio of existing customers by effectively communicating both commercial and technical information, coordinating internal departments and correctly administering appropriate processes. Responsibility will be held for maintaining and growing allocated budget. In coming new business will be allocated within the team, responsibility will be taken to convert the enquiry and manage the client on-going. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Account management or customer service experience is essential for this role as you will;
  • Process and manage the orders for your own portfolio of customers using a bespoke MIS system (full training will be provided)
  • Project manage new customer briefs through the business
  • Build and develop strong relationships with key accounts to manage customers' expectations
  • Follow up on all quote requests to maximise order placement
  • Liaise with Production and Technical team
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer's needs, the people and how you can support their business
  • Review customer spend with the client to determine year on year spend
  • Increase spend year on year
  • Support the customer technically on new projects with support from the Technical Manager
  • Gather all necessary information to ensure all project requirements can be fulfilled
  • Use company database systems to record and maintain customer information, and to manage orders
  • Produce accurate price quotations, ensuring that maximum value is added to all key elements of the quote
  • Supply customer briefs and technical information to the business, in the form of label specifications and job cards
  • Present information and solutions in a clear and professional manner
  • Work to and achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly Company sales targets and goals
  • Follow up on all quotes to receive a response from customers and maximise orders placed
  • Produce monthly reports to outline key business success, failure, issues within current defined account base
  • Support the new business team with quotations, presentations and meetings
  • To work within the remit of ISO9001 & PS9000

Skills & Experience Required for this Position:

  • A background or understanding of print, packaging or labelling will be useful in this position, however product training will be provided
  • GCSE in English and Maths (Grade c or 4 or above) or equivalent
  • Good administration skills
  • Internal Sales with the ability to up sell & cross sell
  • Solid numeracy skills and commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication skills written & verbal / problem solving skills (English language essential)
  • Pro-active and enthusiastic approach
  • Team player
  • Ability to work on your initiative
  • Ability to work with all departments
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Understanding & experience of ISO9001 & PS9000
  • Experience of CERM, MIS system and MS Office would be advantageous
