Business Development Manager – North West

Salary: £35000 + car and bonus
Our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of building products. It is a leader in its field and has a nationwide network of branches. As part of a strategy to target SME’s for its network of branches, the company is seeking a motivated sales professional to support growth plans.
· Identify and develop business development opportunities with SME building companies
· Build a pipeline of active customers
· Work with the Sales Director on the correct pricing and sales approach
· Close deals and build a footfall of opportunities for the branches in the region
· Use proactive strategies to target business
· Experience of selling within a distribution / branch focused network (e.g. building products, construction, electrical, tool hire)
· Good hunter / business development skills
· Used to targeting at SME level
· KPI driven
· Creative and pro-active in identifying potential customers
· Closing deals
