Customer Service Representative - Packaging




£ Salary Circa £25K + Pension + 25 Days Holiday ( plus bank hols) + Benefits

Hours: 8:30am-5pm / 9am-5:30pm

Our Client are packaging innovation specialists, supplying a range of products including film, bags and laminates into food markets throughout the UK & Europe.

They have a current requirement for a Customer Service Representative to join their team, The successful candidate must have the ability to maintain and develop strong relationships with key accounts to deliver an excellent customer experience. You will be responsible for day-to-day administration duties within the Customer Service Team, including managing customer orders from start to finish. You will be a team player, working closely with internal departments to ensure a seamless process is achieved.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience within a similar role
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and have good problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • IT literate, particularly with Outlook, Word and Excel

Responsibilities will include:

  • Processing customer orders, and managing to completion
  • Monitoring and co-ordinating deliveries to meet specified lead times in liaison with the Goods Out team
  • Liaising with Planning, Operational and Despatch teams regarding customer orders
  • Respond to pricing, stock and delivery enquiries
  • Supporting the External Sales team
  • Other associated administrative tasks, including stock management
  • Monitor account performance and associated improvement projects
  • Managing customer projects through the business, alongside the Technical and Sales team
  • Keeping customer records up to date
