Customer Support Role - Packaging

Our Client is a leading packaging manufacturer offering tailor made packaging solutions, due to growth and increase in demand they are looking for a Customer Support candidate to join their busy team.

Main Objective: To maintain a high level Customer Service


  • Telephone calls and visitors
  • Point of contact for inbound calls
  • Handle general enquiries (price / stock / product etc.)
  • Meet & Greet visitors to site (sign in, issue visitor badge, comfort/ refreshment)
  • General Admin
  • Respond to email enquiries
  • Resolve proof of purchase enquiries
  • General admin & reception duties
  • Ensuring mail items are sent out daily including picking & packing small sample products
  • Sales Order Process:
  • Enter & process orders received daily (QAD)
  • Support the administration of Back order & Standing order systems
  • Receiving, recording and processing sales orders
  • Administer, manage and enhance current customer base and sales
  • Maintain a high level of customer service.


  • Ability to adapt and adopt new processes and remain calm to customers and colleagues under pressure
  • An excellent telephone manner
  • Previous Customer Service / Order Entry experience an advantage.
  • Confidence - essential.
  • Computer literate, motivated and enthusiastic
  • An excellent telephone manner
  • Previous demonstrable customer service experience
  • An understanding and previous experience of computer skills absolutely essential.
  • Good administrative skills

The client will consider Customer Support experience from any background however Packaging knowledge especially Plastic Packaging would be a distinct advantage.
