Our Client is a family-owned Packaging Designer, Stockist and Manufacturer based in Worcestershire. They are currently looking to recruit a Die Cutter to join their team.
The chosen candidate will be required to operate a range of equipment, however previous experience in the Packaging Industry, especially within Cartons, would be a distinct advantage.
The production environment is fast paced low volume high mix with short runs meaning frequent set-up and clean down and relatively short run times. Efficiency is based on ensuring error-free operations and mastering effective techniques for keeping set-ups to a minimum. Quality expectations are exceptionally high, and no corners are to be cut, but high-performing operators can balance running speed with a right-first-time approach to quality.
Quality and safety checks must be carried out as per documented instructions and records must be kept including signatures on relevant paperwork (timesheets and works instruction dockets). An accurate final job count must be recorded on the job sheet, which stays with the material as a traceability reference throughout all process steps.
- Contribution to safe, efficient and hygienic production of high quality, food-safe packaging
- Maintenance of quality standards and immediate reporting of any nonconformance or production incident
- Maintenance of hygiene and quality standards in line with BRC requirements - as detailed in Hazard and Risk Analysis Plan
Please apply now if you have experience of operating Die Cutting or Cut and Crease
