Improvement Manager - Melbourne Australia
We are seeking a skilled Improvement Manager to join a leading packaging manufacturer based in Melbourne, Australia. Working closely with the plant manager you will be responsible for identifying, implementing and managing improvement projects, particularly with corrugator machines, to create efficiencies, waste reduction and quality improvements.
About the Role
- Identify, implement and measure continuous improvement opportunities to develop best practice, waste/cost reduction and product improvement outcomes
- Develop and manage relationships within the production team to develop processes, procedures and materials to train, support and train efficient machine crews
- Support production leadership team to ensure performance KPI's are achieved
- Identify and provide leadership on corrugator sustainability and safety initiatives and practices.
You will be skilled manager with extensive fibre industry knowledge and a demonstrated experience of delivering CI projects with corrugator and inverter equipment. Corrugator production management experience will be well regarded as well as Lean or Six Sigma qualifications. Coupled with your technical abilities you will have strong stakeholder management experience and capability to present complex information within all levels of the business as well as strong problems solving capabilities and the ability to leverage technology to improve performance.
