£40-45K + Achievement Bonus + Company Car + Laptop + Phone

Our client is an International Manufacturer of high volume packaging for fast moving consumer goods markets.

They are currently looking to recruit a UK field based National Sales Executive to manage and develop a portfolio of large consumer brand accounts, and to oversee the commercial strategy for UK markets.
A key requirement for this position is to have a solid commercial understanding of value added selling and a technical materials understanding of glass packaging & associated closures / lidding.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement company business plan to expand customer base and market presence
  • Build strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Understanding of customer needs
  • Liaison with internal support teams
  • Prepare and present to clients
  • Sales forecasts to the management team
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts
  • Awareness of new products and competition status

  • An effective communicator at all levels
  • Able to build long standing business relationships with customers
  • Achiever of results in good time
  • Hands on person
  • A full UK Driving Licence & the ability to travel is essential
  • Technical understanding of materials and design / engineering for packaging solutions
  • Selling to food processing markets / global brand owners is useful but not essential
  • Any design or engineering qualifications will be of benefit too.
