Our client is an International Manufacturer of high volume packaging for fast moving consumer goods markets.
They are currently looking to recruit a UK field based National Sales Executive to manage and develop a portfolio of large consumer brand accounts, and to oversee the commercial strategy for UK markets.
A key requirement for this position is to have a solid commercial understanding of value added selling and a technical materials understanding of glass packaging & associated closures / lidding.
Responsibilities:
- Implement company business plan to expand customer base and market presence
- Build strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Understanding of customer needs
- Liaison with internal support teams
- Prepare and present to clients
- Sales forecasts to the management team
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts
- Awareness of new products and competition status
Key Skills:
- A team player
- An effective communicator at all levels
- Able to build long standing business relationships with customers
- Achiever of results in good time
- Hands on person
- A full UK Driving Licence & the ability to travel is essential
- Technical understanding of materials and design / engineering for packaging solutions
- Selling to food processing markets / global brand owners is useful but not essential
- Any design or engineering qualifications will be of benefit too.
