New Business Account Manager



TERRITORY: SOUTH EAST OR SOUTH WEST (Barnstaple, Exeter, Taunton)

Salary Guide: UP TO £25-30K + Commission + Mileage

Our client is a newly formed packaging sourcing company specialising in bespoke packaging: boxes, cartons, corrugated including high end luxury packaging, after a successful first year our client is looking to take on a new business account manager, a keen and eager individual who can be an integral part on the company's growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and preparing sales reports. You will also answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers. In this role, you will liaise with the Managing Director along with external factories to improve the entire customer experience. This position may require occasional travel.


  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts and customer stakeholders
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly initiatives to Managing Director
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Prepare reports on account status
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
  • You will be able to cover the whole of the UK
