Packaging Development Project Manager

 Chivas Brothers Manufacturing Team, based in Dumbarton, is seeking a Project Manager to join them to lead cross-functional teams which are responsible for the product implementation phase of new product/package development, while introducing and converting marketing concepts into components.

As a Project Manager within Packaging Development your key responsibilities will be to:

  • To specifically lead the development of suitable dry goods components and suppliers by project, monitoring commercially and technically through cross functional teams
  • To provide project management to ensure appropriate project control systems are effectively functioning
  • Manage cycle time analysis and workflow process for all components
  • Manage and maintain development implementation timings, post review processes, quality standards and budget categories.

As our ideal Project Manager you will have a technical packaging background with significant experience in a progressive manufacturing/commercial environment. You will be educated to degree standard, or industry equivalent, with experience and understanding of measurement and specification setting of component materials.  In addition, knowledge of hard statistical data evaluation along with experience of packaging methods, materials, design, reprographics and regulations are essential.
