Are you currently looking for a new role in sales?
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Area Sales Representative to join our small,
but successful Pallet and Packaging company, Lydney Pallets & Cases ltd and Packaging
Industries ltd specialising in commercial ventures. You will be working from our offices in
Lydney, Forest of Dean Gloucestershire, except when you are out visiting potential
customers in the South-west of England.
This is a fast-paced and rewarding career opportunity that will suit someone who is target
driven, ambitious and enjoys communicating with people at all levels. This is a B2B role.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be comfortable and confident selling and
interacting with potential customers over the telephone, including making a substantial
number of cold calls and booking your own appointments. You will then be expected to visit
these businesses and carry out pallet and packaging quotations. Full training will be given in
conducting quotes and in our product range.
Specific qualities required include:
• An excellent and successful track-record in finding new business and closing sales.
• Ability to succinctly demonstrate your achievements and leadership qualities.
• You will be dynamic, enthusiastic, and highly professional in your approach.
• You will be keen to drive the business forward to maximise sales of pallets and
packaging as well as always ensuring first-class customer satisfaction.
• You will have a passion for success and achieving our joint objectives.
• You will be an excellent communicator at all levels who is assertive, professional, and
dynamic.
• You will possess the ability to work well under pressure, handle conflicting demands
and schedule work appropriately.
• You will have the ability to quickly build effective relationships and acquire
commitment over the phone.
• A full and valid UK driving licence is required.
• It would be an advantage to have experience in both pallet & packaging sales
Remuneration:
• Salary: Excellent basic / OTE
• Company car
• Mobile phone and laptop.
