PRODUCTION MANAGER/SITE MANAGER - LABELS

Our client is an independently owned, well established manufacturer producing award winning labels for the UK beverage sector. Servicing well know brand names and craft makers in soft drinks, flavoured botanicals and mixers, alcoholic drinks to include beers, vodkas, gins, rums, single malts and blended whisky.

They have an exciting opportunity for a high calibre Production Manager / Site Manager with extensive knowledge of highly embellished Flexo print.

Key required skills:

• Managing up to 40 staff including 2x Shift Managers
• Create, enable and improve structure and processes
• Take control of the production facility
• Direct responsibility of the workforce
• Work to exceptionally high standards
• Risk assessment, H&S responsibility
• Manage and execute BRC requirements
• Technical print knowledge
• Implement performance measures, set KPI's
• Control and monitor flow of production
• Analytical approach to reviewing work practises, equipment etc
• Knowledge and experience of lean manufacturing principles, 5S, 6Sigma etc
• Budgeting skills
• IT skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Motivational leader with employee involvement and development
